GUIDELINES FOR PUBLIC USE OF LIBRARY COMPUTERS
 

Your privilege of using Library computers may be revoked if you violate Library computer use policy or fail to comply with the guidelines below.

• Do not display sexually explicit graphics or detailed graphics of violence.
• Do not run programs from any type of disk.
• Do not alter Library hardware or attach peripherals except for removable USB disks.
• The Library is not responsible for any loss or damage to your disks or loss of data.

• Web/Multipurpose PCs - 60 minutes when others are waiting
• Information Stations (Catalog/databases) - Thirty (30) minutes when others are waiting
• Children’s PCs at Central Library - Thirty (30) minutes when others are waiting

• Black and white - 5¢ per page, first 2 pages free
• Color printing - 50¢ per page, not available at all locations

Use at your own risk. Parents, please monitor your minor children's use of chat.

Staff can provide you with assistance signing on to Library PCs. If you are not familiar with using computers or the World Wide Web, please register for the training classes offered at all branches before using Library PCs.
